Cummins’ BTPC bypass switches offer redundant power transfer capability for situations where even a brief power interruption can have serious consequences. The closed–transition BTPC switch automatically transfers loads between two live sources (utility and backup) without interruption.

Snowmaking at Snow Summit Ski Resort augments Mother Nature with help from Cummins Power Generation "micro–grid" system
February 21, 2008 – To maintain a solid snow base of between three and five feet throughout the ski season, Snow Summit recently installed a prime power "micro–grid" from Cummins Power Generation Inc. increasing snowmaking capacity by 50 percent.
